Biography

Israel Kislansky

Born in the city of Salvador, Bahia, and lives in São Paulo since 1983, the sculptor Israel Kislansky is formed by Santa Marcelina College, where he studied with J. Van Acker and Iole Di Natale.

Some twenty years dedicated to research and sculptural creation, creating in 1997 the Kislansky Atelier de Sculpture, which in addition to developing personal projects guides students and artists with courses and workshops.

It is responsible, in partnership with SENAI (National Industrial Apprenticeship Service), the creation of the "Technical Center in Artistic Foundry" project, which is co-ordinator, with the aim of recovering traditional knowledge and new technologies available to market professionals and technicians in training.
