Biography


Christos Tsintsaris was born June 19, 1974 in Greece and grew up as a child in Thessaloniki. Expressing creative flare at an early age, his parents enrolled him in drawing classes at the YMCA when she was five. With a constraint for the design and the underlying influence of cartoons, comics and fantasy films of the early '80s, he created his first comic at the age of nine.



Growing vinyl era, was fascinated by the artwork on the album, such as the work of Mark Ryden and Robert Williams. Fascinated by their provocative choice of the theme, bold shapes and bright colors, spent hours studying them, re-design and make their own compositions.



In 1990 he crossed the Atlantic and joins a second Saint Andrews and Pine Crest School year in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. As a senior, who excels in sports and earn All American status in swimming. At the same time, his work of art also flourished under the guidance of art teacher, Leon Bryant, who forces him to take courses in advanced placement art, but often complained about his extensive use of materials and paint department !



In 1992 he joined Boston University School of Fine Arts (now the Academy of Fine Arts) receives a scholarship. While in college, he further develops his technique in oil painting and sculpture, but also the creation and presentation begins professional comics to local newspapers.



Prior to his return to Greece, Christos visit Australia and for the first time participated in several group exhibitions in Melbourne. His oil paintings and unique style would have received immediate acclaim and feed his passion to further develop his visual vocabulary.



In 1997, he returned to Thessaloniki, Greece, and created his own studio in Kalamaria area where it produces the artwork for his first major art exhibition staff to the city of Thessaloniki. Boosted by its success, participates alongside renowned artists from Greece in various group exhibitions, such as Amnesty International, Villa Bianca, Anatolia College 100 years and over.



Today, the art Christos can be found in the permanent collection of the Municipal Gallery of Thessaloniki and private art collections in Greece, United States, Australia and England.
